The Majors used a seven-run sixth inning and added five more in the seventh to pace the way.
During the big sixth inning, Eduardo de Oleo started things off with a solo home run, before Byron Reichstein bookended the frame with a two-run shot over the fence.
Jon Dziomba provided most of the Red Sox offence with three RBI, including a two-run homer in the fifth inning.
Abdiel Velasquez struck out four and gave up four runs on four hits in seven innings of work for the Majors
Blake Jacklin had four hits, one RBI and a stolen base to lead the way for the Panthers.
Liam Wilson also showed his power, hitting his second home run of the season.
The Panthers started off hot, scoring a run in the first inning, before adding two runs in the third and sixth. They broke the game wide open thanks to a five-spot in the eighth inning.
Starter Jose Vasquez paced the Panthers, striking out 10 Cardinals batters and giving up five hits in six innings of work.
Colby Ring was credited with the loss on the mound.
