KAMLOOPS, BC—The Kamloops NorthPaws will put the capper on their most recent West Coast League homestand Thursday (June 22) with a doubleheader.
The NorthPaws will tangle with the Wenatchee AppleSox in a twin bill at Dearborn Ford Field at Norbrock Stadium.
The teams will take to the field in the opening game at 4 PM PDT. The nightcap has an opening pitch time of 6:35 PM PDT.
These are the second and third games of the team’s three game series.
Wednesday night (June 21), the AppleSox scored three times in the sixth inning en route to a 3-0 win over Kamloops. The AppleSox move to 12-4 on the year with the Paws falling to 4-12.
Wenatchee’s Quincy Vassar (Brewster, WA) and Cam Hoiland (Renton, WA) combined on a two hitter. Vassar went six innings for his first win of the year. He evens his record at 1-1. Hoiland pitched the last three for his first save of the campaign. Tyrelle Chadwick (Kamloops, BC) went five and a third for his second loss of the season.
The opening game of the series was to have been played Tuesday (June 19) but was rained out. Tickets from that contest will be honored on Thursday night.
