KAMLOOPS, BC—Cooper Neville was one of the brightest lights in a tough sophomore season for the Kamloops NorthPaws.
The rookie infielder from Glendale, Arizona was named as an ‘honorable’ mention as the West Coast League All-Star team was announced Thursday (August 17). He was the only member of this years NorthPaws to be recognized by the league.
Neville came right out of high school and played 52 games with the NorthPaws. He hit .273 with 183 at bats. The six-foot shortstop/second baseman had 50 hits, scored 26 runs, had six doubles, two triples and 22 runs batted in. He also added 12 stolen bases.
Neville had a fielding percentage of .925 with 29 put outs and 69 assists.
He will be attending Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona in the fall.
